Looking for Bennetts on vessel Caboceer

My Uncle Owen Parry, born in Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales b-1927 married Barbara Bennett. Her Grandfather was Humphrey Bennett, and his father John Bennett, I do not have birth or death information. The only link I have is a book concerning the 'Wanderer' with a reference to the vessel Caboceer which went aground off Brightston April 1890. The Captain may have been named Parry. Possibly there is some connection. The main problem is I have no connection to my father's ancestors to his father John Edward Parry b-1884 and married to Margaret Alice Beedles in 1911, other than my Great Grandfather's first name was Peter. My father Thomas Gilbert Parry 1919-1998 had three brothers John, Wallace and Owen, three sisters, Annie, Iris and Gwenyth. If anyone can help I would be very grateful. In return if I can help out with any research in the Chicago area, or with White Star or Cunard please ask.

Looking for Ethel May Harcourt of Wales and England

My Great Aunt ETHEL EVANS was born in Liscard, Cheshire on April13th, 1888. She ran away from home as a teenager and became an actress. She at some point married JACK HARCOURT. They had one son who was also an actor. His name was CLAUDE W. HARCOURT. Sadly he was killed during the Normandy invasion. She was a scandalous person who my mother described as showing up in the 1930's with red or blond hair, silk stockings and smoking cigarettes. Needless to say she was requested to exit stage left. When the older members of the family talked about her it was said in a whisper "She was on the stage mind you!" with a sort of you know what that means tone to it. I am trying to fond out where she performed or any information on her. In return if I can help anyone with White Star or Cunard information or sites in the Chicago area, please ask.
